Chippie, LOVE BUG

Chippie is a 4-year-old, 6.5 lb bundle of love looking for her forever home! She's one of several Chihuahuas rescued from a difficult situation, but these dogs were cherished family members who slept in beds and roamed freely. Chippie is incredibly affectionate and bonds quickly with her people. While she was a bit protective of her puppies, we're confident she'll settle back into her sweet, welcoming self once her babies are all adopted. She's a true lap dog who thrives on human companionship!

Ideal Home

An applicant experienced with small dog breeds would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Chippie arrived at the rescue pregnant and is the proud mother to three puppies: Coco, Chanelle, and Dior. She received all necessary veterinary care upon her arrival.

Training & Support

Chippie is pee pad trained and also knows how to go to the bathroom outdoors. She is currently working on leash walking. While she's getting used to the leash indoors, she freezes when taken outside and is hesitant to walk. This is a work in progress, and she'll need a patient adopter to help her build confidence.
