Cally is a 3.5-year-old, spayed female, approximately 40-pound Pitbull mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love! She’s a high-energy, happy-go-lucky girl with an even bigger personality. Cally is playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly kind – the type of dog who brings joy and laughter everywhere she goes. She has a charming habit of giving the biggest, silliest smiles when she's receiving affection, and she's a world-class cuddler. Get ready for spontaneous zoomies that make her look like a flying baby goat!
Ideal Home
Cally would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her energy and provides daily playtime and opportunities to run (at least twice a day). She’s great with other dogs of all sizes and would enjoy a canine playmate, but she’d also be happy as an only dog as long as she gets plenty of activity. She’s excellent with children of all ages and is very welcoming to strangers. Cally needs supervision indoors as she's still learning to have full freedom and may help herself to shoes or blankets, especially fluffy ones.
Ongoing Health
Cally is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. No specific health concerns were mentioned in the listing.
Training & Support
Cally is house-trained, crate-trained, and does well in a car kennel. She needs continued leash training as she may pull initially out of excitement. While she’s not a candidate for a home with other dogs sharing food, she has made great progress with food-related resource guarding and does not guard food from humans. Feeding her in her crate works beautifully to keep everyone stress-free. She does best sleeping alone in her crate and can get mischievous if crated with another dog or left loose. She doesn't have separation anxiety and entertains herself well with toys. She is very food motivated, making training a rewarding experience.
