Meet Dorito! She's part of our "foodie litter," all born from a brave mama named Rue who rescued herself and her pups from a dire situation. Rue, a German Shepherd and Golden Retriever mix, found herself pregnant and alone, but managed to dig a den to protect her babies from the elements. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time before a storm could flood their shelter. Dorito's own DNA shows a mix of Husky and German Shepherd, which likely contributes to her active and talkative nature. She's a big fan of water, so get ready for some splashy fun! Dorito was born on May 5, 2026, and will be spayed and ready to go home on July 7, 2026.

Ideal Home

Dorito would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her energy. Her Husky and German Shepherd heritage suggests she'll need mental stimulation and physical exercise.

Ongoing Health

Dorito is up-to-date on her vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea and tick prevention. She will also be on heartworm prevention. She is scheduled to be spayed on July 6, 2026.
