Mondo is a stunning 5-6 year old Australian Shepherd mix who weighs about 50-55 pounds. Don't let his age fool you, this guy is full of energy and loves to play! He has a beautiful charcoal grey coat with a white belly and adorable spotted legs. Mondo is up-to-date on all his shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He's also house-trained and crate-trained. Mondo enjoys the company of other medium to large breed dogs, both male and female. He's a happy-go-lucky pup who is very food motivated and loves a good game of chase in the yard!
Ideal Home
Mondo is not an apartment dog and needs a home where he can get regular exercise, whether that's through walks, hikes, or camping trips. He would do well as an only dog or with a canine companion. While he needs an active lifestyle, he also enjoys cuddling on the couch for movie nights. He can be part of a family with school-aged children, or live with a couple or a single person, as long as he is included in daily activities. He must have a securely fenced yard and cannot be tied out or have an electric fence.

Mondo is up-to-date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Mondo knows basic commands but is not yet trained for off-leash situations. He is an intelligent and agile dog who is eager to learn. While he had some issues with fence climbing at the shelter due to lack of exercise, his foster home has not experienced any such problems because he receives regular playtime. He thrives when he is included in daily activities and is not meant to be left in the yard unattended. He also rides well in the car without anxiety.
