Meet Sandy, a bundle of playful energy who's a blast to have around! This short, thick girl weighs about 40 lbs and is estimated to be 2-3 years old, with some bully breed in her mix. Sandy absolutely loves to play with toys, and her silly antics will have you laughing non-stop. She's got these amazing ears that she can pull straight up and pinch together – it's quite a sight! Sandy is currently boarding at Top Dog Daycare & Boarding and is working on some basic obedience training, but she can get a bit distracted when treats take too long to appear!
Ideal Home
Sandy has done well with dogs in previous foster homes and gets along with any dog we introduce her to. However, she is not a fan of cats. Sandy would likely do well with children, but due to her size and energetic nature, we recommend supervising interactions to avoid any accidental tumbles.
Ongoing Health
All pets are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and heartworm tested. Any known medical conditions will be discussed at the time of inquiry.
Training & Support
Sandy is a busy-minded girl and sometimes needs a little extra encouragement to focus on commands, especially if training sessions drag on. She's currently receiving some basic obedience training to help her shine!
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- You must live within 45 miles of our office in the Central Ohio area.
- Adopters must be over the age of 24.
- Resident pets must be spayed/neutered.
- There is an adoption agreement and an adoption fee of $300 for adult dogs.
- The adoption process includes a lease manager reference (if applicable), a veterinarian reference, and a home visit (in-person or virtual).
- If you've never owned a pet, you'll be asked to call several vet offices to compare services, prices, and availability.
- The dog will return home with us after a visit so your family can discuss if they are a good fit.
