Meet Ruby 🐾 -- From Survivor to Sweet, Loyal Companion
Ruby's story is one of resilience and heart. Found living under an abandoned house in the freezing cold, she was doing everything she could to keep her puppies warm and safe. After being brought to a shelter, Ruby and her babies narrowly escaped euthanasia thanks to a dedicated foster who stepped in just in time. Her puppies have all found loving homes... and now it's Ruby's turn. 💛
Ruby is an athletic, medium-energy girl who absolutely loves to run. She's happiest stretching her legs in the yard, often racing around with her foster sibling, and would make an amazing running or adventure partner. This girl is also a curious explorer who loves to investigate new sights and scents with her nose. She's incredibly smart and eager to learn, already picking up commands and making great progress with house training. Ruby is a true "Velcro dog," happiest when she's close to her people and part of the action. She has the most amazing smile!
Ideal Home
Ruby would love an active home where she can be your running or adventure partner. She would do best in a home with children over 5 due to her excitability level. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Ruby tested positive for heartworm, but treatment has already started. She is up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Ruby is already house-trained and is learning commands quickly. She loves to be close to her people and is eager to please.

- The adoption donation is $450.00, which includes transportation fees when applicable.
- Massachusetts residents will have an additional mandatory quarantine fee of $100-150.

Ruby is currently located in Memphis and can be transported to New England.
