Scout "Scoutie Pie"

Meet Scout, a handsome German Shepherd Dog mix with the most adorable floppy ears! Weighing in at 45 lbs., this sweetheart's estimated birthday is April 13, 2025. Scout can be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up, his love is absolutely unconditional. He has a wonderful zest for life and enjoys zooming around and playing with his foster siblings, both human and canine. When it's time to relax, Scout is the perfect cuddle companion for a lazy day on the couch. Scout was rescued from a city shelter where he faced euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being a happy and healthy puppy. Now, he's eagerly awaiting his chance to find his forever home.

Ideal Home

Scout loves to play and would likely enjoy a home with a yard where he can run and burn off some energy. He's already shown he gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs.

Scout is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Transporation

Scout is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may include pickup locations in nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles, and adopters can track the van via the Life360 app and receive updates.
