Rhett Barkler

Meet Rhett Barkler, a charming 50-pound (give or take once fully grown!) Foxhound Mix puppy with a heart full of love and a wagging tail ready to steal yours. He was born on April 1st, 2026, and while we're not entirely sure of his lineage, we're confident he's a delightful mix of good boy! Rhett is a playful and funny pup who gets along great with dogs, kids, and cats currently. He's got a medium to high energy level and is looking for an active home to match his zest for life.

Ideal Home

Rhett would thrive in a home that can keep up with his medium to high energy. He's already shown he's a friend to all, so a home with other pets and children would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Rhett is a healthy puppy! As with all of our rescues, he comes neutered, dewormed, and fully vaccinated for the year, including Rabies, Distemper Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, 4 strains of Leptospirosis, and Bordetella. He has been heartworm tested (and we fully fund treatment if positive) and is current on flea and heartworm preventative. He also comes microchipped with a free transfer.

Training & Support

Rhett is still working on his house training, so patience and consistency will be key. With some guidance and positive reinforcement, he's sure to learn quickly!
