My home needs are: -Wayside recommends bringing your children 9 years old and younger out to meet me before adoption since I am touch-sensitive. -Wayside recommends you bring your dog to meet me before adoption to ensure we can be buddies.

Hi, I'm Jack,

I was found as a stray and never claimed. I am adjusting to shelter life, but it's not home. I can be a shy guy at first but once I warm up, I love my people! I would do well with adopters who will take things at my pace. Once I am comfortable, I love to be the life of the party and make you giggle at my zoomies.

I know sit and down. I am working at getting better walking on a leash. I tend to pull if there is something I want to check out. Will you help me learn more? I take treats gently like a gentleman should.

I am under socialized with other dogs. I tend to stand back and watch the other dogs before interacting with them. Once, I am comfortable, I will offer small bounces and want to join into some chase play. I am not comfortable with a lot of body contact (at least right now). I would do best with other polite dogs that are willing to go at my pace.

What do you think? Would I be a good fit for your home? I would love to meet you. I do better meeting folks out of my kennel. I don't really like all those people staring at me. I'm sure you can understand.
