Chia could be described in many ways, but one single word could honestly sum her up: PERFECT! She's truly a great dog, friendly, snuggly, and a respectful house guest. Chia is quiet and loves to explore outside or snuggle up with her human or dog friends. She was an angel at social gatherings and adored being one of the gals at a Sunday Funday patio hang. She's happiest when she's with her people. Don't let her age fool you, she's still got a silly personality and a lot of spunk left in her. She would be a great addition to any family willing to give her a second chance at happily ever after.

Ongoing Health

All animals from Pet Central are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. You will receive copies of veterinary and microchip records via email.

Training & Support

Chia is house and crate trained.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• After reviewing your survey, a Wags adoption counselor will contact you within three business days.
• An adoption counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet, and determine the suitability of a match.
• After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system.
• Wags supports a 30-day no-fault return policy.

Transportation

If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A Wags representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day" photo with your pet and family.

If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart - Bloomington, IL: Park in the PetSmart (1606 E. Empire St.) parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A Wags representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day" photo with your pet and family.

If your adoption is scheduled at the Cat's Meow Cafe: Navigate to PetSmart, park in the parking lot and enter the store. Locate a Wags Representative at our adoption table and let them know you are picking up a Cat Cafe Cat. You will sign your final contract with your counselor and snap a picture of the completed screen. Head to the Cat's Meow Cafe at 507 N. Hershey Rd and provide them with the snapshot of your final contract. They will get your cat and take a "Happy Adoption Day" photo with your pet and family.
