Lucky is a fun-loving, energetic pup with a heart full of joy and a personality that charms everyone he meets. A volunteer favorite, Lucky lives for playtime, whether it's chasing tennis balls, playing fetch in the yard, or lounging with a stick after a good game. He even loves drinking from the hose and showering his favorite humans with kisses! Lucky weighs 47lbs and is approximately 3 years old.

Ideal Home

Lucky will thrive as the only dog in the home due to some resource guarding. He has a special soft spot for teenagers and can be shy around unfamiliar men at first, but with patience and consistency, he forms strong, loyal bonds.

Ongoing Health

Lucky has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

This smart boy is housebroken, food-motivated, and eager to please. He knows commands like "sit," "drop it," and comes running when you call, "Lucky, here!" With gentle guidance, Lucky continues to build confidence on leash, though he does like to chew on it, so a metal leash is recommended.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
• Lucky's adoption fee is $85.

Transportation

A foster-to-adopt option is available, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official. Meeting our dogs is by appointment only.
