Diamond

Diamond is a 3-year-old, 13lb Shih Tzu with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! He's a pro at being a good boy, already house, pee pad, and crate trained. Diamond thrives on companionship, enjoying playtime with his canine pals and showering his humans with belly rubs and kisses. He's a smart, gentle, and playful pup who also loves car rides.

Ideal Home

Diamond would do best in a home where someone is present often, as he shouldn't be left alone for long periods. A secure, fenced-in yard is a must for him to explore and play. He also needs a playful canine sibling to share his adventures with, and daily harness-walks are a must.

Ongoing Health

Diamond is neutered, vaccinated, HW negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Diamond can be a barker and may chew on things he shouldn't, so providing plenty of appropriate chew toys is essential. He's also a bit of a digger, so supervision in the yard is recommended. He's food and treat motivated, which will be a great asset in continuing his training. Consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement will help him succeed. Diamond, like all dogs, will need at least two weeks to settle into his new home without visitors to build trust with his new family.

Transporation

Diamond is currently located in West Deptford, NJ. We are prioritizing local applications for home checks and meet-and-greets. Our foster volunteers assist with transportation, but their ability to travel is limited.
