Hi there! My name is Peyton, and I'm a sweet, smart, and well-mannered pup who's about 2 years old and weighs 47 lbs. I'm still getting to know the wonderful staff and volunteers here, but I'm eager to find my forever home. If you think I might be your new best friend, I'd love to meet you!
Ideal Home
I'm looking for a loving family to call my own. If you have kids or other dogs in your home, they'll need to join you for a meet and greet so we can see if we're a good match!
Ongoing Health
I've received my DAPPL, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines, and I'm microchipped with a Cuyahoga County license. You'll be asked to take me to your own vet within two weeks of adoption, and I may need follow-up boosters.
Training & Support
Since many of us are strays, we don't always have a known history of living with kids, cats, or other dogs, and we might not be house-trained. Everything we know about you is based on our observations here, but we're all eager to learn and adjust to our new homes with your guidance!
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- You must schedule a meet with a dog in advance, as we are not currently accepting walk-ins.
- Please check our website first to see if there are any dogs you think would be a good fit for your home before scheduling a meet.
- Once you fill out the form, an adoption counselor will get in touch to schedule and confirm your meet!
- During your visit, an adoption counselor will introduce you and your family to adoptable dogs, share information we know about them, and discuss suggestions for successfully integrating a new dog into your home. You are welcome to meet multiple dogs.
- If I'm already fixed, I may be able to go home with you the same day. Otherwise, I can go home after my spay/neuter surgery.
Transportation
I'm currently at 9203 Detroit Avenue Cleveland, OH 44102. Transportation details can be discussed.
