Leo

My name is Leo, and I'm a super smart, playful, and loyal Lab mix who's about 5 years young! My absolute favorite thing in the world is my Chuck It ball – I could chase it all day long! I also love squeaky toys and anything to do with water, just like a true Lab. When it's time to relax, I'm happy to curl up at your feet or follow you around while you watch TV. I might give a little growl at animals on the TV, but a simple "enough" gets me back on track.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can be your one and only furry friend, as I do not do well with cats or reactive/unstable dogs. I need a patient owner who can commit to my training and help me focus on you, not other dogs, on walks.

Training & Support

I know several commands like sit, wait, come, down, ball, enough, go potty, and place. I'm crate trained and consider my crate my safe space, especially when things get hectic. I also eat my meals in my crate and am happy to let you know when I need to go outside. I can be a little vocal when new people arrive, but "place" helps me settle down. I'm very gentle with children and was especially good with my previous owner's 14-month-old son. With treats and time, I warm up and become a very loving companion. I need ongoing training to help manage my reactions to other dogs.
