Benito is a 5-year-old Chihuahua mix who is looking for his forever best friend! He absolutely adores being close to his humans and showers them with kisses. Benito is a social butterfly who hasn't met a human he didn't like, making him the perfect companion for office life or anyone seeking a devoted friend. He's playful and happy in his foster home and is eager to find a loving family to call his own.

Benito is sweet and friendly towards both dogs and people. Despite his small stature of only 11lbs, he plays wonderfully with larger dogs up to 65lbs. While he doesn't need extensive exercise, he enjoys walks with his canine friends and has discovered a love for being carried around like a "Passenger Prince." He also loves to soak up the sun! Benito is a classic "Velcro dog" who thrives on human affection and wants to be by your side at all times. He would love to share your bed at night and would do best with adopters who are home more often than not. He's happy as an only dog or as part of a multi-dog household. Benito loves treats, fluffy beds, couch snuggles, and is an enthusiastic eater! He is potty trained but does use belly bands in the house due to occasional marking.
