Arlo (FKA Cortland)

Arlo is a handsome and energetic 4-year-old, 44-pound boxer/terrier mix with a heart full of love and a zest for adventure. He’s playful, active, and loves to cuddle. Arlo’s previous family loved him dearly but realized he needs more space, activity, and attention than they could provide. He's ready to find his pawfect forever home where he can be your ultimate adventure buddy and couch cuddler. Arlo enjoys exploring hiking trails, running at the park, playing with toys, and sniffing around the yard. He also loves to snuggle on the couch and watch TV, especially if there are horses on screen!

Ideal Home

Arlo is looking for a loving home and a family that can provide him with the attention and exercise he needs. An active family who will take him on walks, runs, and hikes would be ideal. He can live in a home with adults only or with children 3 years or older. He can be an only pet or join a home with another dog, provided there's a proper introduction. A fenced backyard would be great, but not essential as long as he gets regular walks.

Ongoing Health

Arlo has no special health concerns. His adoption fee includes his spay, vaccinations, and microchip.

Training & Support

Arlo is potty trained and knows his basic commands. He can pull on the leash when excited and might have a small accident if he gets overly excited when you come home. He can be protective of his toys when playing with other dogs. He is not a fan of car rides, water, or brooms.
