Zac

Zac is a handsome 5-year-old, neutered male Anatolian Shepherd mix who weighs about 60 pounds. He was rescued from euthanasia at a county shelter, and despite a past injury that required FHO surgery, he has made a full recovery and requires no further medical intervention or medication. Zac is the epitome of a loyal companion, possessing a perfect blend of playful energy and a desire for quiet cuddles.

Ideal Home

Zac thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where he isn't left alone for extended periods. He enjoys having other dogs around and is happiest when he has people nearby to share his life with. While he hasn't lived with young children, his foster believes he'd do well with a family willing to continue teaching him not to jump up when excited.

Ongoing Health

Zac had FHO surgery to correct a previous leg injury. He has fully healed and is not on any medications.

Training & Support

Zac is house-trained and crate-trained. He can be conversational, especially around meal times, and might have some Husky in his mix! He is known to jump up when excited, and his new family will need to continue working on this.
