Rocky

Meet Rocky! This handsome mixed breed boy is about 3 years old and weighs around 59 lbs. Rocky is an excitable, social, and outgoing guy with a super sweet personality. He was transferred to us from animal control and is ready to find his forever family. Rocky has a medium energy level and would be a fantastic companion for an active household.

Ideal Home

Rocky can adapt to most homes, and apartments could even be a good fit as long as he gets enough exercise. He doesn't have any specific fence requirements.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Training & Support

As with any new pet, Rocky would benefit from continued house training and learning general house manners.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.
• You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.
• Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.
• Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). The introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).
• We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.
• Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.

Transportation

Rocky is currently located at our shelter in Warren, MI. Transport may be available within a 100-mile radius of our shelter.
