Sadie is a beautiful 3-year-old Terrier/Border Collie mix who is patiently waiting for her forever family. She's proven to be a wonderfully "low-maintenance" companion, demonstrating a calm demeanor and impeccable house manners during her time in a foster home. Sadie isn't one to demand constant attention; instead, she's an independent soul who enjoys being nearby, observing her humans with a quiet loyalty. Her "guard dog" instincts make her an excellent alert for her family.
Ideal Home
Sadie would thrive in a home that appreciates a calm and independent dog. She is best suited for children ages 5 and up who understand and respect her nature. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she prefers to be the "boss" of the pack, so a male dog companion would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Sadie is heartworm positive. She is up-to-date on vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), microchipped, dewormed, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. A health certificate, exam, and fecal test will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport.
Training & Support
Sadie is a crate queen, happily settling in for the night. She's also a dream on walks, with no pulling. Her strong food motivation makes her highly trainable and eager to learn new things.
