Big Texas is a magnificent 3-year-old Great Pyrenees, currently weighing around 80 lbs and needing to gain some weight to reach his healthy 100+ lb frame. He came into our rescue after the heartbreaking passing of his beloved owner, but he has carried himself with the same calm, gentle, and dignified spirit throughout this difficult time. Big Texas truly embodies the Great Pyrenees breed with his majestic, confident, and composed demeanor. He doesn't need to demand attention; his presence alone is captivating. He's incredibly sweet and friendly with everyone, and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and people. While he has a lovely temperament with children, due to his impressive size and guardian instincts, we are seeking a home with experienced owners who understand the breed. A home without very young children would be the ideal setting for him.
