Dr. Pepper

Dr. Pepper is a sweet and sensitive boy who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. When he first arrived, he was terrified, flinching at movement and trying to make himself invisible. Now, with time and patience, he's starting to come out of his shell. He leans into pets, follows his person around, and will even fall asleep while being gently loved on. He didn't get the chance to feel safe before, so he's looking for someone willing to go slow and meet him where he is. In return, you'll get a deeply sweet boy who just wants to feel secure.

Ideal Home

Dr. Pepper needs a quiet, low-traffic home where life is predictable and calm so he can continue to build trust. A fenced yard and someone who is home often are important for him.

Ongoing Health

Dr. Pepper is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Dr. Pepper is potty trained and low energy. He is dog- and cat-friendly (once they have earned his trust), but he isn't confident yet and is still very much figuring things out. He is gentle and requires someone willing to go slow and meet him where he is.
