Pixie

Meet Pixie, a very sweet senior girl who is full of life and love! Don't let her age fool you; she's a gentle soul who will entertain you if you entertain her. Pixie came to us from a Kentucky shelter where she hadn't been cared for as she should have been. She arrived underweight and has since undergone hernia repair surgery and had several dental extractions. Pixie also tested positive for Lyme and Ehrlichia, both tick-borne diseases, and we've discovered she is either very hard of hearing or deaf. Despite her past, Pixie is both peppy and chill, friendly with other dogs and people, and is just looking for her best life filled with love, kisses, comfort, and care.

Ongoing Health

Pixie has tested positive for Lyme and Ehrlichia. She has also had hernia repair surgery and several dental extractions. She is either very hard of hearing or deaf. As part of our Silver Paws program, she has had a thorough senior pet exam, complete bloodwork, and dental cleaning.

Training & Support

Pixie is house-trained and good with other dogs and children.
