Danny Devito

Meet Danny DeVito, a six-year-old, 16-pound bundle of charisma! This adorable Chug (Chihuahua/Pug mix) is compact, charismatic, and built like a meatball with legs. We suspect he might be part vacuum cleaner with how enthusiastically he follows his nose, and there could even be a Beagle in his family tree, as he's always on an active scent investigation.

Danny was rescued from a difficult situation after a fear-based nip incident when he was startled. Thankfully, he's shown a completely different, goofy, and lovable personality since arriving at the shelter, accepting handling calmly. Like his namesake, Danny is short, stout, low to the ground, and is an amusing little guy with a big heart who can make anyone laugh just by being himself.

Danny is looking for a home where he can continue to build his confidence and show off his delightful personality.

Ongoing Health

Danny is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee includes a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.

Training & Support

Danny is not yet house-trained. He previously had a fear-based nip incident when startled by fast handling, but has since shown to be a different dog at the shelter.

Transporation

Danny is located at Home Fur Good Animal Rescue in Phoenix, AZ. They are open for walk-ins Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 602-971-1334.
