Diva of MD

Diva is a beautiful and sweet American Eskimo Dog who arrived at the ranch after her owner could no longer care for her due to health and financial issues. Initially scared, Diva has blossomed into a happy and confident girl who enjoys exploring and running in the large fenced yard. She gets along wonderfully with other Eskies and is eager to learn. She has recently started nosework classes to boost her confidence and is now leash-trained and enjoying neighborhood walks.

Ideal Home

Diva would thrive in an Eskie-savvy household with a secure, fenced yard and a patient owner willing to continue her training and provide a loving indoor environment. She is not to be an outdoor dog.

Ongoing Health

Diva experienced a short seizure during a vet appointment, and her foster family will continue to monitor her to determine if she will need anti-epileptic medication. Currently, there have been no further seizures.

Training & Support

Diva is now leash-trained and is beginning to enjoy walks. She is also participating in nosework classes to further build her confidence. The family will be working on car rides as she continues her training journey.

Diva is currently located in the area of Eskie Rescuers United. Local adoptions are prioritized. If you are not local, you will need to make special arrangements for transport at your own expense, such as flying or hiring a transport group.
