He's a roughly 1-year-old Lab mix, weighing about 58 lbs, and he might even grow a bit more with his big paws. Tucker has a wonderful, balanced personality when it comes to affection. He's not overly clingy but enjoys leaning in for pets, curling up beside you, and quietly following you from room to room, offering a comforting presence without demanding constant attention. He just wants to be part of your life and near his people.

Ideal Home

Tucker would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play and explore. While he was gentle and calm around a 5-year-old, he could get a little overwhelmed by very fast, loud movements. He would do best in a home that understands he may need a moment to observe and feel safe before fully blossoming.

Having another confident dog in the home would greatly help Tucker continue to build his confidence.

Transport is available nationwide through their rescue-run USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pickup is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
