Bucky

Bucky is a handsome Coonhound mix with a heart full of love to give! Born on February 17, 2020, Bucky was quickly adopted but has since returned to us as his human family grew. He's a wonderful companion who enjoys lounging on the couch, going for long walks, or simply exploring the backyard. Bucky is incredibly food-motivated, which makes him a super smart pup! He already knows "sit" and "shake" and would love to show off his talents for a tasty treat. He does need a little time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he'll be your loyal best friend, happy to cuddle up on your lap or join you in bed. Bucky can be a bit shy around loud noises or sudden movements, so he'll thrive with a patient and gentle person who can help him feel secure.

Ideal Home

Bucky would do best in a home where he can be the only animal, as he enjoys having all the attention to himself. He would also prefer a home without young children, but could be comfortable with children aged 12 and older who understand the importance of respecting his boundaries and earning his trust.

Bucky is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Bucky is extremely food-motivated and eager to please, making him a quick learner. He knows "sit" and "shake." Because he can be easily spooked by loud noises or fast approaches, he needs a gentle handler who will take the time to build his trust.
