Meet Sky! Named for the endless blue skies above, Sky is a bright, joyful little girl who is always ready to make every day an adventure! Born on May 16, 2026, this 8-week-old black Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd mix has a playful spirit, a loving heart, and enough puppy kisses to brighten anyone's day. Sky came into rescue with her siblings after they were removed from their young mother, who simply didn't know how to nurse them. Since then, she has flourished in foster care, where she is learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family. True to her name, Sky has a fun-loving personality that lights up every room she enters. She's full of bouncy puppy energy and is always ready to chase a toy, wrestle with her siblings, or explore something new. Once playtime is over, she's more than happy to snuggle up for affection and soak up all the love she can get. Her sleek, solid black coat is just as beautiful as her sweet personality. Sky loves chew toys and can often be found happily carrying one around before settling in for a cozy nap.

Ideal Home

Sky loves children and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and puppies. She is being introduced to cats with slow, positive interactions.

Training & Support

Sky is already making wonderful progress with crate training, potty training, and leash training. She's a smart little girl who loves learning new things and is gaining confidence every day with the guidance of her foster family.
