Maggie Flowers is a 6-year-old, approximately 50lb pittie mix who brings sunshine and adventure into every day! Her foster parents describe her as living life at full speed, finding immense joy in everything from walks and playing fetch to her hilarious "happy dance" in the grass. Maggie is incredibly affectionate and loves to be a part of the family, enjoying cuddles after a good play session. She's a smart cookie, already knowing commands like "sit," "down," "wait," and "go to your bed." She's also potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash, even practicing great manners like waiting at open doors.
Ideal Home
Maggie would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard. She's looking for a family who wants her to be a true member of the household, joining in on walks, playtime, and relaxation. She would do best as the only dog in the home and is not a good fit for homes with cats, as they are too tempting for her to chase.
Ongoing Health
Maggie is a healthy girl who has received all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Maggie can get overly excited when greeting new people and may jump up, but with continued consistency and training, she is expected to improve. She is incredibly smart and eager to please, making her a joy to train.
