Sol

Sol is a sweet and playful 8-month-old female Labrador mix who is ready to bring joy to her forever home! Weighing around 16 lbs, she's expected to grow to about 32-38 lbs. Sol has a happy and energetic personality, making her a fantastic companion for an active family. She's social with other dogs and people, including strangers, approaching them with curiosity and confidence. Her favorite pastimes include running, jumping, and playing with her toys, especially bright, fun dog balls. Sol also loves to receive affection and will happily soak up pets and cuddles. While she might be a little cautious in new situations, she is never aggressive and has a gentle nature. She is not potty trained.

Ideal Home

Sol would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. She needs a family with a genuine intention to rescue and a deep understanding of the needs and behaviors of rescued animals. Experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, or a willingness to hire a professional trainer. High tolerance and patience for a rescued puppy are essential.

Ongoing Health

Sol has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI vaccines, rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, and microchip. She has also tested negative for heartworm and 4DX, and is up-to-date on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection. A health certificate and vaccine booklet are provided.

Training & Support

Sol is not house-trained and will require patience and consistency in this area. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may need an adjustment period due to past experiences. Patience, a safe and loving environment, and a consistent routine will help Sol build trust and bond with her new family.

Transporation

Sol is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast. Transportation is available door-to-door for a fee of $400 USD. This includes scheduled trips, a contracted transport company, all necessary legal documents, and real-time updates throughout the journey.
