Romeo

Meet Romeo - a sweet, happy, and lovable little guy whose tail never stops wagging! He's a 10-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix who is ready to share his joy with his forever family. Whether he's out on a walk, lounging in the sunshine, playing with toys, or simply hanging out by your side, Romeo is always ready to bring smiles. This friendly boy loves everyone he meets and greets people and dogs alike with a happy wagging tail. He's fantastic with other dogs of all sizes, and great with children. Romeo is the total package!

According to his foster, Romeo is the perfect mix of playful and easygoing. He loves long walks, hikes, car rides to adventures, backyard sunbathing, stuffed toys, squeaky toys, and hilarious blanket wrestling sessions. He can happily keep up on long outings, but he's also content to relax and nap the day away. He's house-trained, highly food motivated, and loves being involved in whatever his people are doing. Romeo is a loyal little companion who will happily follow you around the house and be your best buddy. Romeo joined POMDR from Contra Costa Animal Services after he was found as a stray.

Ideal Home

Romeo would thrive in a home where he can have plenty of companionship, whether that's with another friendly dog or a family member who enjoys having a devoted sidekick. A sunny yard would be a dream come true because soaking up the sunshine is one of his favorite activities!
