Boomer

Meet Boomer, a handsome one and a half year old, 41 lb pit bull mix with a heart as big as his smile. Despite a very hard start in life, this young boy has held on to his happy, loving spirit. Boomer was rescued as part of a cruelty case after being abused by his former owner. But you'd never know it by meeting him—he trusts people completely and greets everyone, big or small, with warmth and affection.

Boomer is a true cuddlebug who just wants to be by your side and soak up all the love he can get. He's playful and happy-go-lucky, always ready to run, chase a ball, or romp around with his friends. He's wonderful with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playmate.

Boomer is kid and dog friendly and would be thrilled to have a canine playmate.

Boomer is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

Boomer is a very smart boy who received professional training and knows many commands. He walks nicely on a leash and is crate and house trained.

Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt Boomer if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.
