Ferrari

Ferrari is a handsome 3-year-old, 50-pound bundle of love! He's a medium-energy boy who enjoys the simple pleasures in life: napping in sunbeams, keeping his humans company while they do chores, and going for walks. His foster family believes he's been around kids before, as he perks up with a happy wag whenever he sees a school bus. He also seems to prefer ignoring the resident cats, which is a plus if you have feline friends! Ferrari is quiet most of the day, coming alive for his favorite times: walks and dinner. He's a good boy who respects his toys and hasn't shown any destructive tendencies. He already knows several commands like "sit" and "lie down" and is eager to learn more! While he's still working on his leash manners, he's improving every day. Ferrari is a champion hug-giver and treats every new person he meets like an old friend. He's also a big fan of car rides and doesn't mind long hikes, especially with his adorable backpack!

Ferrari would be a perfect companion for a busy family or someone who spends most of their time at home. He enjoys both activity and downtime.

Ongoing Health

Ferrari can get overheated easily, so he'll need some sort of clothing for protection when the temperature is above 80°F, along with plenty of water.

Training & Support

Ferrari sometimes cries when left alone, but his foster family is working on this. A calm, reassuring voice can help him settle. He is house-trained and crate-trained, though he may cry in his crate initially when left alone.
