Chico

Meet Chico! Formerly chunky! This little heartbreaker is a 2-year-old Chiweenie/Boston Terrier mix aka; the ultimate pocket-sized mashup of charm + chaos. He was first spotted "on the move" and listed as a dumped/missing dog... but after some digging, we discovered his owner had abandoned him in a trailer park months ago. They don't want him back and have surrendered him so we're giving him the fresh start he deserves. His former name was Chunky, an ill fitting name so, I've upgraded him to Chico a name that actually matches. At just 12-13 pounds, Chico is small in size but sweet personality. He's: Sweet but a little sad I'm the new stranger, so I'm still the "scary dog catcher" in his mind. A total natural with children I watched him light up around a little boy, and it was pure magic. A "respectful menace" to cats and chickens... but come on, he's a Chihuahua/Dachshund/Boston Terrier mix. That cultural identity requires at least some chasing!
