Meet King! This 9-year-old, 60-pound Pitbull mix is a true survivor with a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a euthanasia list in Houston due to overcrowding and, after successfully completing his heartworm treatment, is now healthy, happy, and ready for his forever kingdom. King is incredibly grateful for his second chance and loves making new friends, going for leisurely walks, and perfecting the art of napping. He has a good amount of energy for playtime and adventures, and he's a certified romantic who adores his female companions, both human and canine. He would do best in a home with a female dog, as he prefers to keep his inner circle of furry friends female.

Ideal Home

King would thrive in a home that appreciates his Casanova spirit and can offer him a loving environment. He would do best with a female dog companion and would prefer to live in a home without male dogs.

Ongoing Health

King has fully completed his heartworm treatment and is in excellent health.

Training & Support

King is crate-trained and a gentleman. He is social, affectionate, and has a good balance of energy for play and relaxation.

Transportation

King is currently in Houston, TX, but is ready to travel for the right home! Transport is included in his adoption fee. We accept applications from residents in TX, MA, CT, MD, NJ, IL, OH, MI, WI, MN, MO, ID, OR, UT, and WA. Meet and greets are available for Texas residents.
