Jada is a sweet, petite shepherd mix, weighing in at just 40lbs. She was found by a kind bus driver near a bus stop, and brought to the shelter. Initially, Jada was very nervous and defensive, struggling with basic tasks like being leashed. However, with the dedication of her volunteer handlers, Jada has made incredible progress! She's blossomed into a curious and affectionate dog who enjoys leash walks in the park and leans into pets from familiar faces. She'll even approach new people cautiously for treats. While she's been introduced to other dogs in playgroups, the shelter environment is still a bit too stressful for her to fully engage. Jada is ready to find a patient and experienced home where she can continue to build her confidence.
