Meet Dahlia, a sweet and gentle soul who has truly blossomed since arriving in Colorado. This former mama dog, who lovingly raised eight healthy puppies, is now ready to find her own forever home. Dahlia is a quiet companion who thrives on affection and enjoys the simple pleasures of life, like lounging in the sun and gentle outdoor strolls. She's incredibly grateful for kindness and is eager to share her loyalty with a loving family.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would thrive in a calm, relaxed home that understands her need to take things slowly. She can be anxious around sudden movements, so a home with older children who will give her space and time to feel comfortable would be ideal. She also finds great comfort in the company of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia was previously heartworm positive but has successfully completed her treatment and is now eager to enjoy life as a healthy pup.

Training & Support

Dahlia is a quick learner and responds well to gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement. She is learning the basics and remembers new things after just a couple of gentle introductions. While she currently prefers playtime in the yard to leash walks, she may become more interested in walks over time.
