Penny is a sweet 2-year-old girl, weighing 5.5 lbs, who was found as an unclaimed stray and brought to CCRT by an Ontario shelter. She arrived with a severe, chronic skin infection that caused significant hair loss and painful "elephant skin," due to constant itching and scratching. Despite her ordeal, Penny is affectionate and craves love.

Ongoing Health

Penny suffers from a severe, non-contagious, chronic skin infection. She has undergone vaccination, microchipping, and spaying. She is currently receiving medication for relief and will require a long journey of medicated baths and ongoing skin treatments once healed from surgery.
