Hi, I'm Din! I'm a healthy 65-pound boy around 5 years old. I'm up to date on my shots, neutered, and heartworm negative! My Foster Mom calls me her unicorn with trust issues. It took some time and patience, but I've blossomed into a dog who loves belly rubs and is eager to please. I'm a quick learner, already mastering commands in both English and Spanish, and I'm even learning to ring bells to go outside or push a button to come back in. I'm not a destructive dog when left alone and I have excellent house manners, including not begging for food or counter-surfing. I'm also a fast learner when it comes to boundaries, like not jumping on furniture. I enjoy short walks and am happy to relax at home. I also love playing with other dogs, especially wrestling with larger breeds!

Ideal Home

I would thrive in a home that can give me the time and space I need to build trust. I'd love a family with other bigger dogs to play with, and older kid-siblings would be ideal since unpredictable movements from younger children can still startle me.

Ongoing Health

I have mild hip dysplasia. The vet says it's not severe enough to require immediate intervention and that I should have a long, happy life with proper care and love.

Training & Support

While I've learned a lot, I can be sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements. I'm also very focused on small dogs, deer, or birds when on walks. I'm eager to continue learning and would benefit from positive reinforcement and continued training.
