AC Max

Max is a charming Pomeranian mix with a heart of gold, though he takes a little time to warm up to new people. He loves to lounge by the window, soaking up the sun, and is sure to entertain you with his playful antics. Max gets along swimmingly with dogs of all sizes and is friendly with calm cats. If a cat runs from him, however, he may give chase. He also enjoys regular grooming sessions and sees his groomers monthly.

Ideal Home

Max needs a patient adopter who understands he has strong boundaries. Because he was not treated well by younger children in his past, a home without children under 16 years old is a must. He will verbally communicate his discomfort with a growl, so it's important to respect his signals.

Ongoing Health

Max is a healthy boy who is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered. He is accustomed to monthly grooming.

Training & Support

Max is house-trained and knows how to ask for attention. He can be a bit shy initially, so allowing him to approach you on his own terms will help build trust.
