Sebastian, a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, is a delightful little pup who was found abandoned with his siblings in Houston. Despite his small size, weighing in at just 3 pounds, Sebastian has a big heart and a sweet personality. He's a true snuggler who prefers quiet cuddles over noisy play and is happiest when he's curled up in your arms. Sebastian is gentle, loving, and has already shown himself to be brave and social. He's eager to learn and grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog.
Ideal Home
Sebastian is looking for a family committed to his continued growth and development. He is expected to do well with children, cats, and other dogs, provided they are gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions are supervised. Due to his tiny size, it's important that any resident pets are kind and accustomed to small canines. Sebastian cannot be left alone for long periods and requires a home where someone is present most of the time to help with socialization, training, and care. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, a second adult must be available to care for him during the day.
Ongoing Health
As Sebastian is still a young puppy, he is still working on potty training and crate training. Adopters should be prepared for "puppy surprises" as his exact breed mix and adult size are unknown.
Training & Support
Consistency, frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and patience are key to Sebastian's success in training. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision, and Sebastian will need his new family to provide this.
