Peter Pan, a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, is ready for his next adventure! Currently weighing around 3 pounds, this charming and curious pup was found abandoned in Houston and is now being lovingly fostered in Austin, Texas. Peter Pan has a gentle spirit and enjoys both playful bursts of energy and cozy naps. He's a social little guy who loves exploring and playing tug-of-war with his siblings. He brings a sweet, thoughtful presence to any pack and promises a lifetime of kisses, cuddles, and adorable mischief.
Ideal Home
Peter Pan will do well with children, cats, and other dogs when introduced appropriately. However, due to his tiny size, any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions must be supervised. He thrives in a home where someone is present more often than not to help with socialization, training, and care. Homes where adults work outside the home for more than 4 hours at a time will not be considered unless there is another adult available to care for him during the day.
Ongoing Health
Peter Pan is a young puppy, and his exact breed mix and adult size are unknown. Adopters should be prepared for potential surprises as he grows.
Training & Support
As a young puppy, Peter Pan is still learning potty training and crate training. His new family should be committed to consistent training, frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and patience. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision.
