Rufus

Rufus is a sweet and gentle 1.8-year-old mixed breed, a blend that likely includes Lab and Cattle Dog. He was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas just in time and has since blossomed into a loving and social companion. Rufus is fantastic with other dogs of all sizes and has shown no aggression towards farm animals, even affectionately greeting pigs. He walks beautifully on a leash, is eager to please, and absolutely adores giving kisses and receiving affection. Rufus is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is heartworm positive but has already begun slow-kill treatment, which is part of his healing journey. His kind spirit and gratitude for a second chance shine through in his trust and gentle nature.
