ROBERTA

Roberta is a sweet, 1-year-old, 40 lb German Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a bright future ahead. She came to us as a stray with a broken leg and has since undergone surgery to repair the fracture. Roberta is healing beautifully and feeling so much better. Through it all, she has been building trust with volunteers and showing everyone what a loving, resilient dog she is. She walks nicely on leash, building back her strength, and shows signs of being housebroken. Roberta is affectionate, easy to be around, and simply wants people to love. She will be adopted on a health waiver as she continues her recovery, but she’s ready to leave her difficult past behind and find the forever family she deserves.
