Meet Alpha!

Alpha is a sweet 9-year-old Husky gentleman who came to us in need of urgent medical care. He was thankfully stabilized and is now doing well, but he does have a few special needs to ensure he stays healthy and happy. Alpha is visually impaired and requires twice-daily insulin injections, regular blood glucose monitoring, and a consistent, controlled diet to manage his diabetes.

Despite his health challenges, Alpha is a truly delightful companion. He adores spending time with his people, soaking up all the affection, and enjoying long, peaceful naps. Once his medical needs are met, he's a very easygoing guy. He walks beautifully on a leash, enjoying leisurely explorations at his own pace. Alpha is ready to find a loving forever home where he can continue to thrive.

Ideal Home

Alpha would do best in a home with children ages 10 and older. At this time, he should be kept separate from other animals in the home.

Ongoing Health

Alpha is diabetic and requires twice-daily insulin injections, regular blood glucose monitoring, and a consistent, controlled diet. He is also visually impaired. He will be scheduled for his neuter once he is feeling his best.

Training & Support

Alpha walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys leisurely strolls. He is a very easygoing companion outside of his consistent feeding and medication schedule.
