About Abbie

Abbie is a sweet 6-year-old bulldog and Dachshund mix who weighs about 50 pounds. She has the cutest short legs and is a wonderful companion – attentive and spunky! Sadly, Abbie needs a new home due to a death in the family.

Ideal Home

Abbie is fine with children and gets along with other dogs who are respectful of her space. However, she needs to be in a cat-free home.

Ongoing Health

Abbie has been diagnosed with a Mast Cell Tumor (MCT) over her right eye. Surgery has been recommended by her vet, with an estimated cost of around $1500. While this is a significant need, this lovely girl deserves a chance at many more years of life and love.

Training & Support

Abbie is house-trained. She can be protective when strangers approach, which is something to be mindful of.
