Mojo

Mojo is an 8½ year old male German Shepherd with a remarkable comeback story. He and his mom were found abandoned and living in squalor, surviving by eating rats. Mojo arrived in 2024 in poor physical condition, suffering from severe genetic hip issues that left him almost crippled and in pain. After successful bilateral hip surgeries, Mojo is now thriving! He runs with joy and enthusiasm, making up for lost time.

Mojo is a wonderful companion who truly enjoys human company. He is affectionate, gentle, and will shower you with love once he bonds with you. He's also good with other dogs, provided they are respectful. Mojo has had two hip surgeries and needs canine friends who won't body slam him. Polite dog companions only, please. Children over 10 who understand gentle interaction with dogs are also a good fit.

Mojo is not a fan of cats or small animals. He is housebroken, well-mannered, and easy to live with, knowing how to relax and be part of a household. Mojo requires a securely fenced yard and a home where significant stair climbing is not a necessity, as fewer stairs would be ideal for his mobility. He is a beautiful, sweet, and incredibly happy soul.

Mojo needs a securely fenced yard and a home where significant stair walking won't be required. He is not suited for homes with cats or small animals. Children over 10 who understand how to interact gently with dogs are best.
