Castiel the Loving

Castiel (“Cas”) is a loving, goofy, athletic German Shepherd mix who adores people and wants to be included. At approximately 2 years old and 70 pounds, he is playful, smart, eager to learn, and ready for adventures, car rides, brewery patios, and plenty of back scratches.

Cas was rescued just one hour before he was scheduled to be euthanized after spending months in an overcrowded shelter. He is now looking for a forever home where he can continue to shine.

Ideal Home

Cas is dog friendly and enjoys canine company after proper introductions. Cats and young children are currently unknown. He may jump up when excited and would benefit from structure, consistency, patience, and continued training. Experience with larger dogs would be a plus.

Ongoing Health

Cas is approximately 2 years old, weighs about 70 pounds, is neutered, and is vaccinated.

Training & Support

Cas is house-trained, smart, eager to learn, and willing to work with his person. He is still learning polite greetings after spending months in a kennel.
