Meet Rex! This bright, confident pup is ready to find his forever family. Rex was the first male puppy out of his litter to bravely approach his foster and ask for attention, and that bold, loving nature has stayed with him. He's incredibly intelligent, always watching his foster for cues, and already knows "sit" and "down." Among his brothers, Rex has naturally taken on the role of leader, guiding them with calm confidence. Sadly, Rex, his momma, and his siblings were left to fend for themselves on the streets of a small rural Texas town until a kind couple opened their home to keep them safe. Now Rex is growing into a wonderful young dog with so much love to give. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate pup with a big heart and an even bigger future, Rex is your boy.

Rex is neutered and fully vaccinated. He has tested negative for heartworm and tick fever and is current on his preventatives.

Rex is currently located in the Texas Panhandle and will be transported through Project Freedom Ride when adopted. He is eligible for transport on the following routes:
