Cora is a petite powerhouse weighing in at a charming 40 lbs! This little explorer hops into the car like a seasoned road tripper and is ready for any adventure you can dream up. She loves to swim, making days at the beach, lake, or pool her absolute jam! Cora is a joy to have around and is a pro at fitting into her foster family's routine. She's making friends with other dogs, mastering house manners, and is a quick study when it comes to tricks. Cora is house and crate trained, though she may whine briefly when first crated, she quiets down quickly. When she's free to roam, she's a model citizen with no accidents or chewing. Cora loves to perch on chairs or her crate to enjoy the view, sometimes dozing off mid-snooze! Her affection for her humans knows no bounds, but she prefers to get to know you first before diving into full-on cuddles and kisses.
Ideal Home
Cora would love to be an only dog, as high-energy pups can be a bit much for her. She's a social butterfly on walks and in playgroups. She's fantastic with kids who can handle her enthusiastic wiggles and is cat-tolerant, showing respectful curiosity towards a resident cat. An ideal home would have a yard for her to romp around, but plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun are key.

Transporation
Cora is currently fostered in Seattle, WA. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
