Oreo

Oreo is a 4-year-old, 23-pound neutered male Terrier mix who is looking for his forever home. He has overcome a lot in his young life, having been found as a stray and spending months in a high-kill shelter before being rescued. Oreo is a cautious soul who thrives with patience and a gentle approach. He needs a family who understands that he takes his time to warm up and will let him settle in at his own pace. Once he feels safe and loved, Oreo blossoms into an affectionate, goofy, and incredibly loving companion. He enjoys climbing into laps for snuggles, leaning against his people for comfort, and being a loyal shadow. Oreo is also an enthusiastic adventure buddy, whether it's for a road trip, a neighborhood walk, or even just errands. He's not asking for much, just a patient and loving home where he can be cherished for who he is, and in return, he'll offer a gentle, devoted friendship and a heart full of love.
